Kenneth E. Klasek
Kenneth E. Klasek, 76, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1934 in Chicago to Emil and Josephine (Mudre) Klasek. In 1952, he graduated from Morton High School in Cicero. On October 13, 1957, Kenneth and Judy Kohler were married in Cicero. Kenneth was a tireman for United Parcel Service for 29 years, until retiring in 1993. He and Judy moved from Naperville to Leaf River in 1994. A veteran, Kenneth served in the U. ST. Army from 1957 to 1959. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in rural Forreston. He was active in the Boy Scouts, and loved fishing, traveling, reading and relaxing at home. Surviving are his wife, Judy; son, Karl (Linda) Kiasek, of Waynesville Georgia; and daughter, Karen (Charlie) Allen of Marseilles. His parents preceded him in death. Kenneth liked to read and relax at home. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed giving big hugs to people and sharing his odd sense of humor. Kenneth was an avid fisherman who loved nature and was Judy’s best friend for 53 years. Memorial Service held at 11 am, Saturday, Feb. 19`, with Pastor Carol Soderholm officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am Saturday to the time of Service at the church. |
